Hi, I am Pavel (to the right), welcome! 

I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute for Economic Research and Policy at the University of St. Gallen.

Previously, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the Transport and Mobility Laboratory at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). I received my PhD in Economics from CERGE-EI (Prague), where I was supervised by Jakub Steiner. Here is my CV.

My main research interest is the role of information, both in economic theory and in applied operations research. I study how people use information in decision-making (rational inattention) and how different sources of information can be combined to build better operational models, particularly through synthetic data generation.
